Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Turkish, which included this untitled work by Haluk Akakçe. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,128.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Haluk Akakçe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Incubation - Isolation - Transmission was auctioned for GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,772.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Haluk Akakçe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.128,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Haluk Akakçe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2010 die Arbeit Incubation - Isolation - Transmission für GBP 43.250,00 (€ 49.772,29) versteigert.
