Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Haluk Akakçe was sold in the Contemporary Art Turkish auction at Sothebys in London in March 2009. It changed hands for a price of GBP 21,875.00 (€ 23,588.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Haluk Akakçe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Incubation - Isolation - Transmission, which sold at auction in April 2010 for GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,772.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Haluk Akakçe wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Turkish bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 21.875,00 (€ 23.588,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Haluk Akakçe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Incubation - Isolation - Transmission beobachtet, die im April 2010 für GBP 43.250,00 (€ 49.772,29) versteigert wurde.
