Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (No. 2) by Haluk Akakçe for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,898.91). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art / Turkish at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Haluk Akakçe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Incubation - Isolation - Transmission in April 2010 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 49,772.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (No. 2) von Haluk Akakçe für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.898,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Haluk Akakçe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Incubation - Isolation - Transmission im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 49.772,29).
