A top price for Halil Vurucuoglu - as previously expected
In April 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Turkish, which included the work Duvar (Wall) by Halil Vurucuoglu. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,198.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Duvar (Wall) is the most expensive artwork by Halil Vurucuoglu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art / Turkish durch, in der auch die Arbeit Duvar (Wall) von Halil Vurucuoglu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.198,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Duvar (Wall) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Halil Vurucuoglu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
