Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 2003 Pages by Hadieh Shafie was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2020. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,057.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hadieh Shafie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Transition 7 in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 85,000.00 (€ 98,593.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 2003 Pages von Hadieh Shafie kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.057,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hadieh Shafie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Transition 7 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.000,00 (€ 98.593,90).
