The work 10450 Pages by Hadieh Shafie was sold in the Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian auction at Sothebys in London in October 2011. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,679.82), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hadieh Shafie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Transition 7 in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 85,000.00 (€ 98,593.90).

Die Arbeit 10450 Pages von Hadieh Shafie wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.679,82) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hadieh Shafie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Transition 7 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 85.000,00 (€ 98.593,90).
