A top price for H. Martin - as previously expected
In August 2002 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Playtime by H. Martin. The price achieved of GBP 446.50 (€ 704.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Playtime is the most expensive artwork by H. Martin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im August 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Playtime von H. Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 446,50 (€ 704,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Playtime das teuerste Kunstwerk von H. Martin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
