Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Casting Off Before A Windmill by H. Martin for GBP 360.00 (€ 534.61). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Other works by H. Martin have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in August 2002 by the work Playtime at GBP 446.50 (€ 704.67).
