Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Budapest; and The Hungarian Parliament Building, Budapest by György Ruzicskay. The price achieved of GBP 375.00 (€ 433.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by György Ruzicskay - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Activities at the market square in Buda, Hungary, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 1,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Budapest; and The Hungarian Parliament Building, Budapest von György Ruzicskay zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 375,00 (€ 433,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von György Ruzicskay mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Activities at the market square in Buda, Hungary beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 1.200,00 versteigert wurde.
