Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Kneeling figure; and Bound figure by György Ruzicskay was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in September 2010. The auction ended at the price of GBP 500.00 (€ 578.30), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by György Ruzicskay - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Activities at the market square in Buda, Hungary, which sold at auction in March 2007 for EUR 1,200.00.

Die Arbeit Kneeling figure; and Bound figure von György Ruzicskay wurde im September 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 500,00 (€ 578,30) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von György Ruzicskay mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Activities at the market square in Buda, Hungary beobachtet, die im März 2007 für EUR 1.200,00 versteigert wurde.
