In May 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Error by Gwon Osang. The auction ended at the price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 26,836.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Gwon Osang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Action Sampler was auctioned for HKD 547,500.00 (€ 45,073.75).

Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Error von Gwon Osang zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 26.836,39) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gwon Osang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Action Sampler für HKD 547.500,00 (€ 45.073,75) versteigert.
