In May 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Mother, Daughter and Doll by Guy Pène du Bois. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,562.50 (€ 7,841.97), 59% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy Pène du Bois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Crowd [Self-Portrait|AID239202] in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 463,105.30).

Im Mai 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother, Daughter and Doll von Guy Pène du Bois zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 7.841,97) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy Pène du Bois erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Crowd [Self-Portrait|AID239202] im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 463.105,30).
