Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mourning Light by Guy Denning was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2010. The price achieved of EUR 2,359.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guy Denning - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Second Expulsion - 2014, which sold at auction in June 2015 for EUR 6,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mourning Light von Guy Denning kam im März 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.359,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Guy Denning mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Second Expulsion - 2014 beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für EUR 6.000,00 versteigert wurde.
