Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work La cueillette des fleurs by Gustave Cariot. It changed hands for a price of EUR 19,200.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gustave Cariot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Prairial in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 131,250.00 (€ 124,266.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La cueillette des fleurs von Gustave Cariot zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 19.200,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Cariot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Prairial im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 131.250,00 (€ 124.266,24).
