Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 2,640.00 (€ 1,925.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustave Bolin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Normandie, Pommier En Fleurs - Circa 1960, which sold at auction in October last year for EUR 4,723.00.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.640,00 (€ 1.925,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gustave Bolin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Normandie, Pommier En Fleurs - Circa 1960 beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für EUR 4.723,00 versteigert wurde.
