Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gustave Bolin could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Landscape changed hands for USD 1,440.00 (€ 1,050.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gustave Bolin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Normandie, Pommier En Fleurs - Circa 1960 in October last year with an auction result of EUR 4,723.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gustave Bolin konnte im Juli 2007 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Landscape für USD 1.440,00 (€ 1.050,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.800,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Bolin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Normandie, Pommier En Fleurs - Circa 1960 im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.723,00.
