Auction result fails to reach estimate
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Interior with an elderly man resting in a chair by Gustav Vermehren for DKK 2,500.00 (€ 334.97). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustav Vermehren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweethearts At Dusk in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,482.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Interior with an elderly man resting in a chair von Gustav Vermehren für DKK 2.500,00 (€ 334,97) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustav Vermehren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweethearts At Dusk im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.482,55).
