A top price for Gustav Johan Fenger - as previously expected
The work Europa by Gustav Johan Fenger was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2013. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,390.69), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Europa is the most expensive artwork by Gustav Johan Fenger that we have observed at auctions so far.
