The work Centrepiece with atlantes by Gustav Gurschner was sold in the The Sculpture Sale auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2007. The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Gustav Gurschner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vase in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Centrepiece with atlantes von Gustav Gurschner wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion The Sculpture Sale bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustav Gurschner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vase im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
