In December last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work Snowy landscape by Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 380,000.00 (€ 34,064.31), 27% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winterlandschaft. 1908., which sold at auction in July 2020 for CHF 97,900.00 (€ 91,239.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Snowy landscape von Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 380.000,00 (€ 34.064,31) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gustaf Edolf Fjaestad mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winterlandschaft. 1908. beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für CHF 97.900,00 (€ 91.239,74) versteigert wurde.
