This artwork by Guo Zhen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work A Child'S View sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,268.76) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Guo Zhen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot New Toy sold at auction in June 2014 with the realized price of CNY 129,800.00 (€ 15,283.97).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Guo Zhen erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit A Child'S View für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.268,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Guo Zhen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit New Toy im Juni 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von CNY 129.800,00 (€ 15.283,97).
