A top price for Guo Huairen - as previously expected
The work Archway by Guo Huairen was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The auction ended at the price of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,112.75), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Archway is the most expensive artwork by Guo Huairen that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Archway von Guo Huairen kam im November 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 13.112,75) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Archway das teuerste Kunstwerk von Guo Huairen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
