Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain View by Guo Chuanzhang was auctioned at POLY in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,657.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Guo Chuanzhang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boats Sailing Afar in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 138,600.00 (€ 15,351.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountain View von Guo Chuanzhang kam im Oktober 2018 bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.657,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guo Chuanzhang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boats Sailing Afar im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 15.351,08).
