Upper estimate price exceeded by 66 %.
The work Gelberhellung - 1990 by Gunter Damisch was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in December last year. It achieved a price of EUR 24,928.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 66 %. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gunter Damisch; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Kopf sold at auction in June 2020 with the realized price of EUR 30,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 66 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Gelberhellung - 1990 von Gunter Damisch wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 24.928,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 66 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gunter Damisch; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Kopf im Juni 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 30.000,00.
