The work Vid bryggan by Gunnar Torhamn was sold in the Lilla Bukowskis S189 auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in September 2009. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,567.19), 60% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gunnar Torhamn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Självporträtt med konstnärsvänner" (Self portrait with friends), which sold at auction in October 2012 for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 3,488.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vid bryggan von Gunnar Torhamn wurde im September 2009 in der Auktion Lilla Bukowskis S189 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.567,19) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gunnar Torhamn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Självporträtt med konstnärsvänner" (Self portrait with friends) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 3.488,96) versteigert wurde.
