This work of art by Guillermo Muñoz Vera could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art including Latin American and Russian Art auction, the work Ganchero No. 19 changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,392.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillermo Muñoz Vera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Díptico - Interior con tinajas in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 215,000.00 (€ 225,248.82).
