A top price for Guillermo García Lledó - as previously expected
The work Escena de ciudad by Guillermo García Lledó was sold in the Latin American Sale auction at Christies in New York in November 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,270.50 (€ 2,286.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Escena de ciudad is the most expensive artwork by Guillermo García Lledó that we have observed at auctions so far.
