Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Chiesa della Misericordia, Venezia (detta anche Albergo della Misericordia) by Guido Tallone was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guido Tallone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venezia, which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 2,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Chiesa della Misericordia, Venezia (detta anche Albergo della Misericordia) von Guido Tallone im November 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Guido Tallone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venezia beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 2.600,00 versteigert wurde.
