Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Guido Ricci could be acquired at Il Ponte in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Pescatori changed hands for EUR 1,200.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Guido Ricci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Collecting clay from the riverbank in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,910.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guido Ricci konnte im Juni 2020 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Pescatori für EUR 1.200,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Ricci auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Collecting clay from the riverbank im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.910,19).
