Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Guido Casciaro could be acquired at Il Ponte in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo auction, the work Figure al balcone changed hands for EUR 2,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guido Casciaro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paesaggio A Capri in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 10,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guido Casciaro konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo wechselte die Arbeit Figure al balcone für EUR 2.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guido Casciaro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paesaggio A Capri im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.450,00.
