Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 2,115.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,900.00 – 2,700.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guido Agostini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Motivo apresso il lago Trasimeno: a view of lake Trasimeno, Italy, which sold at auction in February 2008 for EUR 6,250.00.
