Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2004 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work A capriccio of the Roma campagna by Guido Agostini. The price achieved of GBP 2,390.00 (€ 3,577.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Guido Agostini have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2008 the work Motivo apresso il lago Trasimeno: a view of lake Trasimeno, Italy was auctioned for EUR 6,250.00.
