In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Italian The Wedding Party by Guglielmo Innocenti. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,132.79), 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Guglielmo Innocenti; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Fête Champêtre sold at auction in May 2007 with the realized price of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 22,956.46).

Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian The Wedding Party von Guglielmo Innocenti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 14.132,79) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Guglielmo Innocenti; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Fête Champêtre im Mai 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 22.956,46).
