Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work View of the Venetian Lagoon at sunset by Guglielmo Ciardi. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,896.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guglielmo Ciardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian a View Of St Marks Basin With The Punta Della Dogana in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 241,997.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of the Venetian Lagoon at sunset von Guglielmo Ciardi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.896,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guglielmo Ciardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian a View Of St Marks Basin With The Punta Della Dogana im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 241.997,85).
