Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Nubi sulle colline by Guglielmo Ciardi was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 5,000.00 – 5,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 4,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guglielmo Ciardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian a View Of St Marks Basin With The Punta Della Dogana in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 241,997.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Nubi sulle colline von Guglielmo Ciardi im Mai 2018 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 5.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 4.500,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Ciardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian a View Of St Marks Basin With The Punta Della Dogana im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 241.997,85).
