In November 2017 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo, which included the work La casa sul fiume by Guglielmo Ciardi. The result of EUR 12,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guglielmo Ciardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian a View Of St Marks Basin With The Punta Della Dogana in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 241,997.85).

Im November 2017 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit La casa sul fiume von Guglielmo Ciardi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 12.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Ciardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian a View Of St Marks Basin With The Punta Della Dogana im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 241.997,85).
