Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italian canal In Venice by Guglielmo Ciardi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,167.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Guglielmo Ciardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian a View Of St Marks Basin With The Punta Della Dogana in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 212,500.00 (€ 241,997.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Italian canal In Venice von Guglielmo Ciardi kam im Dezember 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 35.167,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guglielmo Ciardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian a View Of St Marks Basin With The Punta Della Dogana im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 212.500,00 (€ 241.997,85).
