Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Gu Hongming was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,751.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gu Hongming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Running Script, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,785.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Gu Hongming kam im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.751,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gu Hongming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.785,55) versteigert wurde.
