A top price for Gu Fang - as previously expected
In April 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Gu Fang. The price achieved of HKD 517,500.00 (€ 50,657.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 550,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Gu Fang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings And Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Gu Fang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 517.500,00 (€ 50.657,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gu Fang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
