Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mirage Egyptien, 1976 by Gregorio Vardanega was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in December 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,463.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gregorio Vardanega achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pintura in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 65,091.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mirage Egyptien, 1976 von Gregorio Vardanega wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.463,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gregorio Vardanega erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pintura im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 65.091,84).
