Despite a disappointment, a good price for Grégoire Michonze
When the work Village Party With Musicians by Grégoire Michonze was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,942.30). Despite this disappointing result, Village Party With Musicians is the most expensive artwork by Grégoire Michonze that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Village Party With Musicians von Grégoire Michonze im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
