Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2005 Christies in Sydney held the auction CONTEMPORARY ART, which included the work SPE NO. 27 by Grant Mudford. The price achieved of AUD 1,075.50 (€ 661.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grant Mudford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,740.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit SPE NO. 27 von Grant Mudford zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.075,50 (€ 661,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Grant Mudford erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.740,49).
