Admittedly, works by Grant Mudford have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,740.49).

Die Arbeit Paint Tub No. 7 von Grant Mudford kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 1.912,00 (€ 1.175,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Grant Mudford auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected Images im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.740,49).
