Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work "Mex" by Grant Mudford for USD 358.50 (€ 217.27). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grant Mudford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,740.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Mex" von Grant Mudford für USD 358,50 (€ 217,27) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Grant Mudford erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.740,49).
