Admittedly, works by Grandma Moses have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sugaring Off in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 1,360,000.00 (€ 1,025,563.68).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 113.775,00 (€ 116.298,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Grandma Moses auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sugaring Off im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.360.000,00 (€ 1.025.563,68).
