Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Desperados 60 x 48 in. (152.4 x 121.9 cm) framed 66 1/2 x 54 1/2 x 2 in. by Graham McKean was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. It achieved a price of USD 701.25 (€ 645.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Graham McKean achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No Regrets in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,476.23).

Die Arbeit Desperados 60 x 48 in. (152.4 x 121.9 cm) framed 66 1/2 x 54 1/2 x 2 in. von Graham McKean kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 701,25 (€ 645,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Graham McKean erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No Regrets im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.476,23).
