The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,549.72), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Graham Knuttel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Sailor, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,712.35).
