Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Bank Job (Finally My Money Is Safe) by Graham Knuttel. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,281.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Graham Knuttel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work The Sailor was auctioned for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,712.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bank Job (Finally My Money Is Safe) von Graham Knuttel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.281,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Graham Knuttel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit The Sailor für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.712,35) versteigert.
