Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work British Underwater by Graham Dean for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Graham Dean have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2008 by the work British Think at EUR 4,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit British Underwater von Graham Dean für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Graham Dean wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2008 die Arbeit British Think mit EUR 4.750,00.
