Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2016 Koller held the auction Gemälde (West), which included the work "Possibility". 1981. by Gottlieb Soland. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 1,750.00 (€ 1,632.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gottlieb Soland - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel, 1967 Untitled, 1967, which sold at auction in November 2011 for CHF 5,250.00 (€ 4,285.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Koller die Auktion Gemälde (West) durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Possibility". 1981. von Gottlieb Soland zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 1.750,00 (€ 1.632,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Gottlieb Soland mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel, 1967 Untitled, 1967 beobachtet, die im November 2011 für CHF 5.250,00 (€ 4.285,31) versteigert wurde.
